As Oyo State continue to mourn, the state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi today paid a condolence visit to the family and community of the late Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Micheal Adeyemo.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the governor in entourage with members of the Oyo State House of Assembly led by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Musa AbdulWasi and other members of the state executive arrived the home town of the late speaker, Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State.
According to a statement on the governor’s official Twitter handle, it reads “Earlier today, I was at Lanlate, the hometown of my late brother and confidant, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Michael Adesina Adeyemo, on a condolence visit. I’m still in shock. May his soul RIP.”
In a related development, the Honourable Minister of Communications, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Shittu also paid a condolence visit to the late speaker’s home town.
