The Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and the owner of the popular Quilox club, Sina Peller joined the All Progressives Congress leaders yesterday in Ado Ekiti for the flag off rally for the APC’s candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
APC leaders which included the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo; Senator Ahmed Tinubu; the party chairman, Chief John Oyegun; Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola and array of others were part of the campaign train.
While speaking, the Vice President told residents that Fayemi is indeed the candidate who will bring transformation to the state.
He said, “Fayemi is the chosen one who will transform Ekiti State. JKF is the one who will bring transformation to Ekiti State. Vote JKF once again.
“When July 14 comes, don’t look backward or sideways, look forward, because we are moving forward. APC is a progressive party. It is a party for successful people.
“On July 14 let’s come out en-mass and vote for APC. PDP has done enough. APC has prepared a new and delicious meal for Ekiti residents.”
Tinubu at the campaign called on Ekiti residents to get ready to give the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a red card, come July 14, 2018.
He said it will only be a futile campaign if the APC members come out en-mass for the campaign and do not equip themselves with their PVC.
“What is the value of your stay here if you have no Permanent Voters registration Card (PVC)? That is your red card. On Election Day, that is when you will give PDP red card,” Tinubu said.
