The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party has released the list of authentic members of state executive in Oyo state.
In release on page 37 of Saturday Tribune obtained by insideoyo.com, the National Working Committee states that it has approved the Electoral Appeal Panel report on Oyo state congress on the composition of state’s executive committee in line with the National Executive Committee’s political solution resolution. The release was signed by the National Organizing Secretary.
Recall that insideoyo.com had earlier reported that the party held parallel congresses in the state with Chief Jacob Adetoro and Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha emerging chairmen of Engineer Seyi Makinde and Senator Rashid Ladoja factions respectively.
Also that, at a meeting held in Abuja to resolve issues relating to the harmonisation of last year’s parallel congresses of PDP, the party conceded positions like Secretary, Deputy Chairman, Youth Leader, Organising Secretary, Financial Secretary, Auditor, Assistant Publicity Secretary, Assistant Legal Adviser, Two Ex-officios as well as two others to a faction led by Engr Seyi Makinde.
However, Senator Rasheed Ladoja’s faction secretary, Mr Wasiu Emiola was replaced with Mr Wasiu Adeleke of Engineer Seyi Makinde’s faction.
All members of executive were also invited for inauguration on Monday June, 11 2018 at the PDP secretariat in Abuja.
