The campaign coordinator of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in ATISBO, Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituency, Honourable Barrister Ayobami Ojo has donated a sum of one million naira to the campaign council of the ATISBO local government chairmanship candidate of the party, Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade.
The campaign council known as ‘Ajose Wa’ Campaign Council is the one propagating the chairmanship ambition of Alade and other candidates of the party in ATISBO local government area ahead of the local government election in the state.
Ayobami Ojo made this donation on Friday in Tede, ATISBO local government area during a stakeholders meeting of the PDP leaders in the council area.
While speaking, he admonished other well-meaning party leaders and political office holders in the local government to rally round the candidates in terms of materials, logistics and other support.
While reacting, the chairmanship candidate, Alade commended Honorable Ayobami Ojo for the donation while pledging to work with stakeholders to ensure the dividends of democracy gets to the nook and cranny of ATISBO local government area, if elected.
He promised to ensure the good works of Governor Seyi Makinde under the Omituntun 2.0 mantra get to the people of the local government area.
The meeting which was held at the Chairman’s quarters in Tede was summoned to ratify the campaign time table and discuss how to achieve a successful electioneering campaign which will lead to electoral success for all candidates.
The campaign will officially flag off on the 20th of February, 2024 with the first activity.
Other leaders present at the meeting were Elder Debo Adejumobi, immediate past chairman, Oyo state Tourism Board; Alhaji Ismail Adedeji, former chairman ATISBO LG; Mr Funsho Folaranmi; Alhaji Fatai Ojebisi, ATISBO PDP Chairman and others.
