The acting registrar was born on the 21st of January, 1959 in Ogbomoso.

Mr. Paul Oyediran attended Baptist Day School, Mami, Ogbomoso between 1966 and 1971. He proceeded to United Baptist Secondary Modern School, Oko in 1972 and completed his programme in 1974.

As an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, Mr. Paul Oyediran bagged Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Sociology in 1991 and 1995 respectively.

Mr. Paul Oyediran started his working career at the University of Ilorin where he worked as Hostel Porter between 1982 and 1991.

As an administrator, Mr. Paul Oyediran worked as an administrative assistant responsible to the Principal Assistant Registrar (Students’ Affairs) at the University of Ilorin.

Between 2001 and 2004, Mr. Paul Oyediran served as an Administrative Assistant (Establishments), where he handled statutory matters on behalf of the establishment division of the University of Ilorin.

As an astute administrator, Mr. Oyediran continued to discharge his duties at the establishment division, as an Administrative Officer (Establishment), assisting the officer in charge of academic and non- academic matters and making submissions as may be required. Mr. Paul Oyediran served in this capacity meritoriously since February 2005 until March 2008 before joining the services of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.

As a foundation member in the registry and having joined the services of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igbbora, Mr Paul Oyediran, worked at the establishment division as an Assistant Registrar (Establishment) and Senior Assistant Registrar (Establishment) between 2008 to 2010 and 2010 to 2013 respectively.

Mr. Paul Oyediran rose to the position of Principal Assistant Registrar in 2013, where he also worked at the establishment division until 2014.

In his capacity as Principal Assistant Registrar, Mr. Paul Oyediran continued his administrative work at the establishment division since 2014 to 2016.

In October 2016, Mr. Paul Oyediran rose to the position of a Deputy Registrar and was posted to the Council Affairs Division and later to the Council Affairs and General Purpose Division, the position he was before his appointment as the Acting Registrar.

As an administrator per excellence and outstanding scribe, while at the University of Ilorin, Mr. Paul Oyediran served in various committees, some of which include; Secretary, Investigation Panels between 1993, 1994 and 1995 and Secretary, University Ambulance Committee as well as Secretary, Unilorin Petrol Management Board.

At the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Mr. Paul Oyediran served as Member, Ceremonial Committee between 2013 to 2019 and Chairman, Ceremonial Committee since 2019 till date.

Mr. Paul Oyediran also served as Chairman Food Vendor Operations between 2012 to July, 2017 while he also served as member College Health Management Board between 2009 and August 2013 and Member, College Committee on NBTE migration.

Outside the shores of the University and the Polytechnic, the Acting Registrar is a Music Director and Member, Finance Committee, Zion Baptist Church, Adewole Housing Estate, Ilorin.

The Acting Registrar has attended so many professional courses, conferences, workshops and seminars.

Mr. Paul Oyediran is a member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPMN), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Public Management (CIPM) and Member, Association of Niger in Universities Professional Administrators.

Mr. Paul Oyediran as an administrator is not alien to the tertiary institution workings and regulations.

The Acting registrar loves reading and music.

He is happily married to Mrs. Roseline Oyediran and the marriage is blessed with children
