The immediate past Dean, School of Secondary Education, Languages, Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate, Mr. Aliu Adegboyega Yusuf has charged members of the School to be united.
Yusuf said this during an appreciation programme held in his honour after serving as Dean of the School.
The event which took place at the Language Laboratory of the institution on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 had in attendance the current Dean of the School, Mr. Jimoh Sulyman, other Deans and Directors in attendance.
Mr. Yusuf while speaking at the programme enumerated that one of the things that helped him during his tenure was that he was conscious of the spirit of unity which they had in common in the school. That, according to him was what made them to achieve great success in the school.
He therefore admonished every staff and member of the school to always do the right thing at the right time and always aim high.
Speaking earlier, the current Dean of the School, Mr. Jimoh Sulyman said it was a good thing to always appreciate oneselves, especially while still alive and when one can know his worth. He equally commended the love that bounded them together in the school. He appreciated the mind behind celebrating their amiable boss in the School of Languages.
While stating the purpose of the programme, Chairman, Social Committee, Mr.Fagbenga Agoro Oyeniyi expressed his delight to be part of the programme. Describing, Mr. Yusuf, Oyeniyi stressed that he was a honest and free minded boss who would always welcome other people’s idea. He seized the opportunity to appreciate him for leaving a good legacy for his subordinates.
Appreciating the attendees, Mr. Razak Tiamiyu expressed gratitude to God for granting them the grace to successfully plan the programme, he thanked everyone present, and specially appreciated the Dean for both his moral and financial support.
Other Deans and Directors present included Dr. Segun Okedigba, Dr. Tunde Ogundiran, Dr. Olaide Lamidi and a host of others.
