Speaking further, he said “The said vehicle, conspicuously abandoned on the highway posed great danger to motorists along the axis, hence, the resolve of the Officers to apprehend and impound it.

During our booking exercise, we received a signal from the Western Police Command, Apapa Wolf, Lagos State that the impounded vehicle had been an object of immense search since it had been reportedly stolen from the Lagos Terminal Port, Apapa, weeks ago.

Following some preliminary investigations, the Authority has therefore handed over the vehicle to the Western Police Command, Apapa, Lagos State for further investigations”, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi concluded.
