Oyo State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Okunrinjeje Abiodun Oni, has appointed a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Adesina Julius as his Media Assistant.
Oni, in a statement made available to newsmen, charged Adesina to discharge his duties with loyalty, dedication and commitment, noting that the appointment takes effect from January 3, 2021.
According to the Commissioner, the appointment of Adesina as his Media Assistant is in furtherance of the Governor Seyi Makinde administration’s commitment to empowering youths and mentoring them for leadership responsibilities.
Adesina, who hails from Igbeti in Olorunsogo Local Government, studied Public Administration at the OAU.
A Creative Director and political analyst, Adesina has proven his mettle over the years as a vibrant youth and students’ leader, having served as president of the National Association of Oke Ogun Students (NAOOS).
His wide range of interests include citizen journalism, youth advocacy and humanitarian services.
