Oyo State is among the Nigerian states with strong growth potential in the first quarter of 2019, according a report by Manufacturers Association Of Nigeria (MAN).
According to the report, the pacesetter state has a growth potential of 80.1 points in the first three months of 2019 far better than that of Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja and Edo state.
The MAN report also states that Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Rivers, Kwara, Kogi, Lagos, Ogun and Kano are the other strong states.
A further check shows that Rivers scored 72 points; Kwara and Kogi scored 69.9 points, while Lagos had 53.8 points, Ogun earned 53.5 points and Kano got 53.3 points in growth potentials for the period under review.
Other States that fell below 50 points include Kaduna with 49 points, Edo/Delta zone recorded 46.7 points, Bauchi/Benue/Plateau had 39.8 points, Abuja 37.5 points, Imo had 35.7 points and Enugu/Anambra got 35 points.
