It was jubilation galore at the venue of Hon Olumide Ojerinde Mega empowerment program where politicians from within Oyo North senatorial district gathered to witness the mega empowerment in Igboho, Oyo state.
In his welcome address, Olumide Ojerinde reiterated that since his assumption to the office, many are all full of hope and optimism that his leadership will change the socio economic and political narrative in the Federal Constituency.
His words: “To the best of my knowledge, I have not disappointed in ensuring that the wellbeing of all my constituents is my number one priority.”
Hon Olumide who represents Irepo, Olorunsogo, Oorelope Federal Constituency made it clear to the people that: “It would not be business as usual and following the legislative events that made up the past two years.
“It’s is no longer a story that I have surpassed my predecessors in many ways. For instance, my activities in Igboho, Igbeti and Kisi are visible because they are all community based Programs”.
“Today, we are gathered here to present to you items to help you in your line of businesses thereby improving the quality of life and your standard of living.
“This items would go a long way to empower you. So far, we have delivered the following projects across all communities within Irepo, Oorelope and Olorunsogo federal constituency: Uncountable Water Projects, Renovation and Building of School, Building of Maternity Hospital, Bill for the Creation of Higher Institutions, Bill for the creation of FMC, Now in Senate, Distribution of Food&Other Items for Sallah, Building&Equipping of Cassava Processing Plant, Distribution of Advance Seedings & herbicides to 800 Farmers, Training And Empowerment on Yam and Cassava to 350 beneficiaries, Training and Empowerment on Soya Beans and Distribution of Food Items&other items for Xmas.
Invited guest were not left out in their keynote addresses, while speaking at the occasion, a grassroot crusader and APC party chieftain from Irepo, Engineer Femi Alao described Hon Olumide Ojerinde as an achiever who is not lacking in his duty of moving the Federal Constituency to next level.
In his own word, the outgoing Oyo state APC Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, who was represented by Alhaji Arikeuyo showered encomium on the Federal Lawmaker, reminding the party faithfuls in the federal constituency and the state on the need to get ready for changing the narratives.
Distinguished senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, who was also chairman of the occasion also praised Ojerinde and described him as one of its kind.
He attributed Ojerinde’s success stories to humility that he exhibits and learnt from his parents.
While reacting, beneficiaries praised Olumide Ojerinde for the fit describing Olumide Ojerinde as first among the equals.
