The lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/South West Federal Constituency, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, alias Odidiomo, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, on his 56th birthday anniversary, held December 25th.
Odidiomo, in a congratulatory message signed by his Media Team and made available to journalists, described Makinde as a soldier of democracy, who has remained unshakable in his pursuit of truth, fairness, and justice for all.
He added that the governor has shown, through his character and resilience, that speaking truth to power is very important to the political and economic growth of the society.
He equally acknowledged the Governor’s ‘engineering role’ through various landmark and infrastructural projects, leaving the sands of history in the Pacesetter State.
The statement reads, “Your Excellency, I want to, on this day, say happy birthday to you and wish you many happy returns.
“I appreciate your untiring sacrificial roles towards re-engineering the state. You have, no doubt, been a very fearless, outspoken, and selfless leader. And apart from that, your resistance against injustice, violation of the rule of law, divisiveness, and suppression is quite admirable.
“Equally, it is no surprise that you have proven to be different from many.
“Under your leadership as governor, you have since invested massively in human capital and infrastructural development across Oyo state. That’s why you are known to all as the ‘Engineer of Modern Oyo State’.
“My wish for your administration is to be remembered for improving the lives of the residents of the state.”
“Therefore, I want to congratulate you and pray to God to bless you with many more years in good health.”
