Oyo State recorded 30 coronavirus cases between May 28 and May 30, Insideoyo.com reports.
This brings the number of confirmed cases in the state to 282.
The State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde made the disclosure on Saturday evening via a post on his Twitter account.
According to the Governor, 22 out of the 30 confirmed cases are from iSON Xperiences.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for the following cases came back POSITIVE:
May 28 – 10 cases, all from iSON Xperiences
May 29 – 15 cases, 10 from iSON Xperiences
May 30 – 5 cases, 2 from iSON Xperiences
So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 282,” he said.
Makinde further said 21 confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second negative test results and have been discharged in the past three days.
The development brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 96.
