The newly elected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Leader in Oyo State, Michael Ogunsina has bemoaned the spate of insecurity in the Nation, saying with the President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress, insecurity is winning.
Ogunsina, made this known in a victory speech after emerging Youth Leader in the Oyo State chapter.
According to Ogunshina, the Nigerian Security Tracker has revealed that not less than 36,035 people were killed between 2015 and 2019.
Ogunshina said his new position would avail him the opportunity to mobilize youths to support the Party in the 2023 elections.
He therefore vowed to work for the re-emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde and to support the People’s Democratic Party to victory in the coming General elections.
Ogunsina in a statement he made available to Oyo News thanked Governor Makinde for his deliberate commitment towards investing in youths in the pacesetter state.
He promised to reunite the youth Wing of the party, which he noted is the strength of the party.
“We must cultivate a selfless force for democracy and good governance. We must stand and as one. This is important if our Party must succeed. It is at the core of my agenda”, he added.
He also promised strategic mobilization among youths, building presence everywhere in Oyo and strengthening the party’s position for continuity and development.
