The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council on Friday condoled the Senator representing Oyo Central in the National Assembly, Chief Teslim Folarin over the death of his wife, Angela Nwaka.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the Union, Comrade Sola Oladapo quoted the Union’s Chairman, Demola Babalola as expressing sadness over the death of Angela.
“The Chairman, Ademola Babalola had since called Senator Folarin who was on his way to catch flight around 4pm, minutes after the unfortunate news of his wife’s death was broken.
“Demola Babalola in the brief chat on phone with Senator Folarin said Angela’s death was shocking and one death too many to bear.
“Distinguished Senator, this is sad and devastating. May Allah comfort you; the children and all the family members of the deceased.”
Similarly, A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, has condoled the Senator representing Oyo Central, Oloye Teslim Folarin, over the death of his wife, Angela.
Alao in a statement he personally signed, described the death of Chief (Mrs.) Angela Folarin, as shocking and a big blow.
According to him, the departed will be missed by the Folarin family and womenfolk in general, praying Allah to give her soul eternal rest and grant those she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
He said, “On behalf of my family, friends and political associates, I want to sincerely condole with my dear brother, Senator Teslim Folarin, the children and the entire family on the death of Chief (Mrs.) Angela Folarin.
“Her death coming at this time is shocking and devastating, but Allah knows best
“It is my prayer that Almighty Allah will grant her soul Aljannat Fridaus and be with the family at this trying period.”
