A serving member of Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency 1, Ibadan, Oyo State, Hon. Rasaq Ademola Abdullahi known as “Omo Sheu” has shown his readiness to organise empowerment and graduation programme for his constituents.
Omo Sheu while speaking with pressmen disclosed that the empowerment and graduation programme would come up on Monday, 27 December, 2021 at Westley College Elekuro Ibadan at 10am prompt.
He itemised empowerment materials as: sewing machines, head dryers, makeup boxes, grinders, laptops, generators, chest freezer, nylon cutting machines, clippers and lots of fans among others.
The Lawmaker stressed that about 130 beneficiaries across the wards that make Ibadan Southeast Constituency 1 would benefit from the itemised empowerment materials.
While speaking on purpose that triggered empowerment, Omo Sheu maintained that the allocation of those materials to the constituents is to give back to them.
Stressing that the programme is equally in line with fulfilment of promises made during the electioneering campaigns.
Omo Sheu said that the graduands who were enrolled for vocational trainings would have the equipment to start their jobs and maintain good status in the society.
He however appealed to those who have not benefited to be patient, that the dividends of democracy will be extended to the doors in nook and cranny of the state constituency.
