It was learnt that an advertorial had been placed on Monday to congratulate Ladoja, who is seen as the leader of the opposition in the state.
In the said advertorial, the names of 11 lawmakers- 8 and 3 from Accord (now PDP) and Labour Party, LP, respectively, were used as signatories.
It was gathered that the trio of Honourables Gbenga Oyekola (Atiba), Peter Oyetunji (Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere) and Balogun, all of LP, didn\’t know anything about the advertorial but might have been included by the colleagues in the opposition.
But at the floor of the House yesterday, Balogun told his colleagues that neither did he know anything about a group called rainbow coalition of opposition lawmakers nor anything about the advertorial.
This is just, Balogun who represents Oorelope State Constituency, said that he has not defected from the Labour Party, under whose platform he contested and won a seat into the Assembly.
