The Onifiditi of Fiditi, Oba Shakiru Oyewole, Gbadewolu 1, chiefs, and indigenes of Fiditi gathered to celebrate the 2024 Fiditi Day. The event was chaired by Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi, a governorship hopeful in Oyo State.
The highlight of the event was Olaoluwa’s donation of ₦10 million to the town. The people of Fiditi were full of praise and gratitude for Olaoluwa’s philanthropic gesture.
In his address, Olaoluwa emphasized the need for good governance and announced his intention to run for governor of Oyo State. He urged the people to support his aspiration, highlighting his achievements through the Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (P.O.F).
Oba Shakiru Oyewole advised the indigenes to prioritize their hometown, Fiditi. He assured Olaoluwa of the town’s support for his governorship bid.
Dignitaries present at the event included Olaoluwa’s wife, Dr. Mrs. Olaoluwa; Prince Yemisi Adeaga, immediate past President of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes; and Prophet Samuel Shittu, among others.
