A governorship hopeful in Oyo State, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the appointment of a party chieftain in the state, Chief Sunday Dare.
Olaoluwa, in a release through his media office in Ibadan and made available to journalists on Thursday, said the Preaident has again demonstrated his love for the party in Oyo state through the appointment.
Olaoluwa described the appointee as a committed party man who had over the years worked for the good of the party with impressive record and sincere service to the people.
He said the appointment is indeed a round peg in a round hole considering the professional record and antecedents of Chief Dare, who is a thorough-bred journalist.
“On behalf of my immediate family and my supporters across Oyo state, I extend my sincere felicitations to one of the leading chieftain of our great party in Oyo state, Chief Sunday Dare, on your appointment as Special Adviser, Public Communications to President Bola Tinubu.
“I know you will succeed in your new assignment and, by extention, contribute positively to the renewed hope of Mr. President.”
He prayed for the new Special Adviser for God guidance and wisdom in his new office.
