After a well deserved victory against Pace Setter FC of Ibadan, Shooting stars FC of Ibadan will face Crown FC of Ogbomoso in the final of the ongoing 2018 Oyo State Football Association Cup.
Insideoyo.com gathered that both teams will be meeting in the third straight final since 2016 in the competition. The two clubs who play in the Nigeria National League, NNLG, are owned and controlled by the state government.
Recall that Shooting stars relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL last season which led to the sack of the manager to joined Crown FC who has been in the Nigeria National League, NNLG for a while.
Crown FC secured the final ticket after defeating Saki United FC 4 – 0. The two clubs will represent Oyo state in the Federation Cup competing with other clubs from other states in Nigeria. The final comes up on June 12, 2018 at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.
