The Oyo State Councillors Forum, led by Chairman Oladepo Ayodeji ALA, has extended its heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to the governor of Oyo state Engr. Seyi Makinde, over the construction and commissioning of the newly built Olusoji Adagunodo South West Zonal Secretariat, in Ibadan.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday, the Forum expressed pride in Governor Makinde’s achievements.
The Forum also congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in the South West Zone.
The statement read: “This new Secretariat stands as evidence of His Excellency’s commitment to strengthening our party’s presence and infrastructure in the South West. We are thrilled to witness this milestone under his leadership.”
The Oyo State Councillors Forum also extended a warm welcome to the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, His Excellency Amb. Iliya Umar Damagum.
“The presence of our Acting National Chairman at this landmark commissioning is an honour and the evidence to our party’s unity and shared vision,” the statement added.
The inauguration event, held at the Olusoji Adagunodo South West Zonal Secretariat in Ibadan on Saturday, November 2, 2024, saw attendance from prominent PDP leaders, including Governor Makinde and others.
The newly built Secretariat is expected to serve as a central hub for PDP activities across the South West, bolstering the party’s organizational capabilities and fostering stronger regional coordination.
