A gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Usman Ololade Bakare has congratulated the good people of Oyo State over celebration of golden jubilee since creation of the state.
He described the golden jubilee as the celebration of 50 years of identity, resilience and remarkable progress made by sons and daughters of Oyo State.
Dr Bakare said that the celebration underscored unbreakable spirit of the good people of Oyo as well as the sacrifices of founding fathers. Bakare said over the past five decades, Oyo state has grown in strength, culture, enterprise, and unity. He maintained that Oyo has produced great minds, strong institutions, hardworking farmers, artisans, civil servants, students, professionals, and entrepreneurs who continue to make the state proud across Nigeria and beyond.
The cyber security expert said: ”as we celebrate 50 years since creation of Oyo State, we must also reflect on the journey ahead. Our Golden Jubilee should inspire us to build a State that works for everyone—where security is assured, jobs are created, education is strengthened, healthcare is accessible, and opportunities are available for our youth and women.
“We must deepen good governance, promote accountability, and ensure that development reaches every community, not just a few.
“As a gubernatorial hopeful under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, I renew my commitment to serve with sincerity, competence, and compassion. Together, we can turn our shared dreams into reality and make the next 50 years greater than the last”.
