Former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja alongside former secretary of the state, Chief Micheal Koleoso today met the former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Ladoja, Koleoso and other stakeholders of the party including, the Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Senator Monsura Sunmonu; Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Musa AbdWasi were part of the delegates at the meeting.
Others at the meeting included members of the Oyo State House of Assembly Hon Bolaji Badmos (Akinyele II), Hon Ganiyu Aiyesoro (Irepo/Oloorunsogo), Hon Afies Adeleke (Iseyin Itesiwaju), Hon Luqman Olawale Balogun (Oorelope), Hon Fatai Adesina, Hon Muideen Olagunju and eight others.
Also Alhaji Sharafadeen Alli, Barrister Bayo Lawal; former SSG, Chief Layiwola Olakojo; chairman Labour Party, Mr Ariba; Dr Busari Adebisi, leader of the Unity Forum; Hon Fatai Salam, former Parliamentary chairman, representing the 7th Assembly members; Mr Soj, representing former caretaker chairmen in Oyo state.
Recall that insideOYO.com earlier reported that, a 9-man Interim Committee members was created by the National Working Committee which will be inaugurated tomorrow in Ibadan. The committee is headed by Mr Femi Majekodunmi from Ogun state while the secretary is Dr Ajayi.
To accommodate new members who want to join, the party has rescheduled the ward congress which will now be on the 7th of August, local government congress will be on the 8th of August and state congress on the 11th of August.
