The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has congratulated the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin, on his coronation today.
Hon. Ogundoyin in a message described the coronation of Oba Olakuleyin as a significant milestone in the history of Ibadanland, noting that the new Olubadan’s wealth of experience and wisdom would bring immense benefits to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
“I heartily congratulate the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin, on his coronation today. This is a momentous occasion for Ibadanland and Oyo State, and I am confident that Oba Olakuleyin’s reign would usher in a new era of peace, progress, and prosperity for our people,” Ogundoyin said.
The Speaker also praised the peaceful and successful transition of power, which he noted was a testament to the rich cultural heritage and tradition of Ibadanland.
Hon. Ogundoyin, who is also the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, expressed his commitment to working closely with the new Olubadan to advance the interests of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
“Once again, I congratulate Oba Olakuleyin on his coronation and wish him a successful and impactful reign. I look forward to working with him to drive development and growth in Ibadanland and Oyo State,” Hon. Ogundoyin added
