The 2019 gubernatorial candidate of Accord Party, Saheed Ajadi has congratulated the new Olubadan, Oba (Dr.) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on his coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland
Speaking in a statement by his media team, Ajadi wished the new Olubadan a peaceful reign in Ibadanland and progress for the entire Oyo state.
According to the statement, he joins the entire indigenes of Ibadan, the family of the new Olubadan, the government and people of Oyo State in celebrating Oba Lekan Balogun’s ascension to the ancient throne of his forefathers.
He urged the new monarch to follow in the worthy and commendable footsteps of his predecessors by working diligently for peace and development in Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria.
He also called on Oba Balogun to do his utmost best, in his new role as the chief custodian of the traditions of his people, to preserve and propagate the admirable culture and customs of Ibadan.
Ajadi prayed that Almighty God would grant Oba Lekan Balogun long life, good health and the wisdom he needs for a successful reign.
