Professor Adeniyi Olowofela has resigned from the administration of Governor Abiola Ajimobi as commissioner of education.
Olowofela dropped his resignation on Monday, September 10, 2018, to pursue his political ambition on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
Shortly after dropping his resignation, the Professor picked up the APC nomination form.
Recall that Governor Abiola Ajimobi has ordered his cabinet members to resign their appointment if they want to contest for elective position.
“TODAY, I tendered my resignation letter this morning to pursue my Federal House of Representatives ambition (Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency).
“I resigned following my resolution to contest the Federal House of Representatives seat having obtained the APC nomination form.”
Prof. Olowofela praised Governor Abiola Ajimobi for the opportunity he bestowed on him to lead the ministry of education in the state.
