Nigerians have been advised to continue to celebrate this eid el kabir festival moderately and live peacefully.
The advice was given by the Olokaka of Okaka land, Gbadewolu the first, Oba AbdulAzeez Olatunji Ayoola Ogelende in his sallah message to the people of Oke Ogun, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
According to the royal father, the advice became imperative because of the present situation in the country which calls for sober reflections.
He admonished Muslims and people in Oke Pgun area in general, to celebrate modestly and imbibe the lessons of the eid el kabir which includes tolerance, peace, piety, good neighborhood, love and kindness.
Oba Abdul Azeez charged settlers from other parts of the country to live peacefully with their host communities.
The monarch used the occasion to call on the youths, to channel their energy and knowledge to positive engagement towards building an enduring and brighter future. Olokaka prayed that Nigerians shall have a better story to tell this time next year and years to come.
