2027 Oyo state governorship hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) on Friday described as shocking and painful, the news of the demise of former majority leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Oyeniyi Oyeniran (Kosigiri)
Olaoluwa, in a statement by his media office in Ibadan, the state capital said progressive has again lost a rare gem and a politician per excellence.”
He said, “Indeed Oyo state APC had again lost one of its very committed party stalwarts and elder, to the cold hands of death.
I pray that God will give the family, the people of Oluyole, and APC the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Hon Oyeniran contributed so much to the growth of progressive ideals in the state and never relent in given his best to ensuring the party succeed.
“On behalf of my immediate family and my entire supporters across the state, I pray for the repose of Papa’s soul in eternity,” the statement concluded.
