The sacked chairman of Ogbomoso North LG and son of the former governor of Oyo state, Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala has vowed the sue the government for illegal removal from office.
Olamiju stated this in an interview with BBC Yoruba, following his removal and swearing-in of an acting chairman by the Oyo state government on Wednesday.

He said the government will meet him in court describing his removal as rude shock and illegal.
“Only Oyo house of assembly can recommend my removal.
” The four councilors that recommended my removal were not yet inaugurated.

“Ask them to bring minute of their sittings, they cannot produce it,” the embattled chairman said.
He urged his supporters not to fight and the matter will be settled in a law court.
