Oyo State governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, has been commended for the appointment of the immediate past Chairman of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Mr Dotun Oyelade, Mr Mufutau Open Salawu and other appointees from Ogbomoso zone of the State.
Giving the commendation was the immediate past Director-General, Oyo State Signage and Advertising Agency (OYSAA), Honourable Temilola Adibi, in a statement made available to journalists on Monday.
Adibi, a former House of Representatives member, who represented Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency between 1999 to 2003, in the green chamber of the National Assembly, noted that the appointment of Oyelade and Salawu is a testament to the qualities and competence abound in Ogbomoso-born professionals and reward for loyalty on their part.
He stated further that the people of Ogbomoso will always remain grateful to governor Seyi Makinde, for giving Ogbomoso zone the opportunity to serve under his government, while assuring the governor that the appointees will not engage in acts capable of making the governor regret appointing them.
Adibi, a former Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government and Board Chairman, Oyo State Sports Council, therefore, called on the appointees, Mr Dotun Oyelade and Mr Mufutau Open Salawu, who have always been representing Ogbomoso in a very good light, continue to be good ambassadors of Ogbomosoland by putting up a good show wherever they are assigned to serve the people of Oyo State.
