In a statement jointly signed by Prince Olaoye Issa, Secretary of the Edu Royal Family; Pa Prince Joshua Oladeji, Head of the Edu Royal Family; and Chief Oyadeyi Waheed, Head of the Kingmakers, the community described the re-election as a reflection of the monarch’s dedication and impactful leadership during his first term.
According to the statement, “The re-election of our monarch, Oba Adeoye Gbenga Adigun Oyetunji Oyinlola II, as the Organising Secretary of the Oke Ogun Obas Forum is a clear testament to his commitment, dedication and outstanding performance in office during his first tenure.”

Expressing optimism about his future leadership, the Ofiki community added,
“We are proud of him and pray that God grants him good health and strength to assume the office again in 2028.”
The community further congratulated the newly elected executives of the forum, including the Aseyin of Iseyin, who emerged as part of the leadership that will steer the affairs of the body until 2028.
“May Almighty God grant the new executives the wisdom and capacity to record greater successes in office,” the statement concluded.
