The Oduduwa Support Group, a coalition of grassroots mobilisers within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged full support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, during a strategic meeting with the newly constituted Oyo State APC executive.
The meeting, held at the APC Party Secretariat in Ibadan, was described as a synergy-building session aimed at strengthening collaboration between the party leadership and support groups ahead of the next general elections.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Barr. Fatai Adeshina, APC State Secretary, commended the rancor-free congress that produced the new executives, describing it as the foundation for victory in 2027.
He noted that the Oduduwa Support Group’s readiness to partner with the party was a sign of growing unity and mobilisation strength in Oyo State.

The Director General of oduduwa Support Group, Otunba Olusola Orelaja, emphasised that the organisation’s plan is to mobilise voters through door-to-door campaigns, social media engagement, and grassroots outreach.
He highlighted President Tinubu’s achievements, including the student loan scheme and economic reforms, as key campaign points.
Deputy DG, Rev. Dr. Adenike Victor Tade (Mama Empowerment), described Tinubu’s reforms as painful but necessary, likening them to a surgical operation that would eventually restore Nigeria’s economic health.
She announced that the group’s official inauguration and press conference will hold in Ibadan on April 14, positioning Oyo State as the headquarters of the movement.
National Leader of the Oduduwa Support Group, Chief Vincent Bakare, stressed that Ibadan, as the political capital of Yorubaland, was chosen for the group’s inauguration to symbolise its central role in Yoruba political mobilisation.
He revealed that the coalition comprises over 300 support groups across states, all dedicated to APC’s success.
National Woman Leader of the group, Hon. Ambassador Ibrahim Aduke Mariam, assured that women across grassroots structures are already mobilised and committed to Tinubu’s renewal agenda.

In his remarks, the APC Oyo State Chairman, Otunba Moses Alake, congratulated the group for its organisational strength and promised full cooperation.
He expressed confidence that with unity and grassroots mobilisation, President Tinubu’s re-election bid would be strongly supported in Oyo State.
