After seeing off Bayelsa United 3 -1 on Sunday, Assistant Handler of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Yinka Popoola said his side will storm Osogbo with the aim of winning the maximum points.
The Oluyole Warriors followed up their 1-2 away win over Giant Brilllars on match day two with the win over Bayelsa United, thus doing their promotion bid a favour.
Speaking with the media after Sunday’s match day four triumph, Gullit as the coach is fondly called by his admirers praised the efforts of the players which resulted in the win.
“We came into the encounter to win and we are happy the boys put in their best to get the much needed win.
We give it to our supporters and fans for their support and prayers and we assure them that the winning streak will not stop,” said coach Popoola.
On the team’s next game against bottom placed Osun United in Osogbo, Gullit hinted of the readiness of the Ibadan soccer lords to take their host to the cleaners.
“We are going to Osogbo with the mindset of winning. This victory over Bayelsa will be the tonic needed to do that,” added the 3SC assistant sweat merchant.
