A federal Commissioner with RMFAC, Bimbo Kolade has described the 2020 festive season as one in which individuals must show a great measure of appreciation to Good Almighty who deemed it fit to keep us alive and healthy till now.
In his new year message released in Ibadan, Kolade said we cannot but be grateful to God who saw us through the year 2020 despite it’s multi-faceted challenges.
As we enter into the new year, Kolade, who is a former commissioner in Oyo state, urged individuals to be positive minded and patriotic as we look towards bigger achievements next year.
He called for more efforts at diversifying the economy of Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole while stressing the need for more investment in the agric sector.
Expressing the hope for a better economy for the nation in 2021, Kolade appealed to youths to embrace agriculture and subsistence farming.
As projections have gone for a spike in the COVID 19 infections, the APC Chieftain urged everyone to obey COVID 19 protocols and be moderate in all activities.
He prayed that the new year will be prosperous for the nation, for Oyo state and for every individual.
