The National Examinations Council (NECO), has delisted a school in Oyo state for two years over alleged involvement in mass cheating.
Other states include a school in Katsina and Kebbi states.
The Council said on Tuesday it recorded cases of examination malpractices such as “collusion by supervisors, teachers and school administrators, who ought to be part of the army in fighting the scourge”.
The acting NECO Registrar, Mr. Abubakar Gana, disclosed that in its recent June and July 2019 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, the council put the cases of malpractices at over 40,000.
