The Mogaji Aare Alasa compound in Ibadanland, Prof. Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP, has extended warm congratulations to Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his official coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a goodwill message personally signed and made available to the press on Friday, Prof. Olagoke who is also the Founder and Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen In Islam Worldwide, Wakajaye, Ibadan described the emergence of Oba Ladoja as “a blessing not only to Ibadanland but to Oyo State and the entire Yoruba nation at large.”
“The enthronement of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, is a divine call to service, wisdom, and leadership at a critical time in our socio-political history.”
“As a former governor and a statesman of immense experience and integrity, Oba Ladoja brings a wealth of knowledge, maturity, and uncommon dignity to the Olubadan stool,” Prof. Olagoke said.
The Islamic scholar further highlighted the expectations of the people of Ibadanland and beyond, calling on the new monarch to serve as a beacon of peace, justice, and inclusive development.
“We look forward to a reign marked by harmony among the diverse traditional and religious institutions in the land.”
“Oba Ladoja’s tenure must champion the cause of moral reorientation, youths empowerment, and sustainable development rooted in our cultural and spiritual values,” he added.
Prof. Olagoke also urged the people of Ibadanland to rally around the new monarch, praying for a peaceful and prosperous reign.
“May the Almighty Allah grant Kabiyesi long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to lead Ibadanland to greater heights.”
“I enjoin all sons and daughters of Ibadan, at home and abroad, to support His Imperial Majesty in this sacred task of nation-building,” the statement concluded.
