The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the 2019 gubernatorial election iin Oyo State, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu; eminent lawyer, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN); former governors of Kaduna and Rivers States, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and Nyesom Wike and eminent medical scholar, Ali Pate are on the list of ministerial nominees forwarded to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu, The Nation reports.
Immediate past Cross River State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade; eminent journalist Dele Alake, who is currently the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Media and Communication Strategy; immediate past governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola were also on the list.
The medium quoted a source as saying the president forwarded the list to Senate President, Godswill Akpabio on Thursday morning, in line with the constitutional provision that the list should get to the National Assembly within 60 days after the presidential inauguration.

Tinubu had hinted about setting up a government of inclusion and competence after assuming the office.
He said experienced ministers will drive his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda in the national interest.
Despite keeping the list to his chest, it was gathered that it was drawn following wider consultations with members of the ruling APC National Caucus, the Progressive Governors’ Forum, top party leaders and relevant stakeholders.
