In a keenly contested battle between 37 Queens from the Federation who strutted the runway like Queens, Emmanuella Yaboh who represented Oyo State emerged third runner-up and Miss ECOWAS.
Emmanuella is a 500-level student of the department of Agricultural extension and rural development at the faculty of Agriculture and forestry, university of Ibadan. The beauty pageant is a competition lovers have always look out for every year, had 37 beautiful ladies mostly from the Eastern part of the country representing all the states of the nation before Miss Delta pulled out for ‘personal’ reasons.
Miss Kebbi state, Ugochi Ihezue is the winner and the 30th Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria taking the crown from outgoing Beauty Queen, Unaoku Anyadike who has reigned supreme for two straight years.
Ugochi, after knocking out a bevy of stunning beauties, the model would represent Nigeria at The Miss World Competition.
Joining Ugochi on the ranks are Miss Plateau, Winfrey Okolo who will now represent Nigeria at the Miss Tourism Beauty Pageant; Miss Sokoto, Stephanie Agbasi (who also won Best Traditional Costumes) who will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant; and Miss Oyo, Emmanuella Yaboh, all of whom will represent the country in Miss ECOWAS Pageant.
Other awards won by contestants were most photogenic award given to Miss Anambra, Miss Yobe won the amity award and best traditional costume went to Miss Sokoto while the best evening wear award went to Miss Bayelsa.
