Oyo atate governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has sworn-in the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mrs Olanike Adeyemo, the Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, 16 newly appointed Commissioners, the State Accountant-General, Mrs Kikelomo Adegoke and some Permanent Secretaries.
The governor, while speaking at the swearing-in ceremony held at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Agodi Secretariat Ibadan on Thursday, noted that his administration has successfully appointed the commissioners across the 14 federal constituencies in the state, adding that he would continue to search for reputable personalities that can serve the state well from its nooks and crannies.
While cautioning his administration critics to be constructive in their criticism, Governor Makinde pledged that he will never relent his robust policies for the state, despite that he had been given another mandate to serve the state.
Governor Makinde also admonished the newly appointed Commissioners and other principal officials to be upright and deliver their statutory functions according to the oath of office they took.
The newly sworn-in commissioners are Barr.
