Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has nominated three additional Commissioners, insideoyo.com has confirmed.
Sources close to the government said Makinde has sent the names to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
InsideOyo.com gathered that one of the nominees, a woman, hails from Iseyin, others were said to be men.
The source assured that the lawmakers who are currently in recess till September 15 will do the needful to the list in due course.
While expressing optimism, he said that the commissioners would also be assigned their various ministries where they would serve immediately.
Recall that 14 commissioner-nominees have been screened and cleared the State House of Assembly. With the additional of three, Oyo is expected to have 17 commissioners.
Meanwhile, the state government will inaugurate the executive council and assign portfolios to the 14 commissioners today.
