Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, yesterday, dismissed insinuations that African Democratic Congress (ADC) had dropped Senator Femi Lanlehin as the party’s governorship candidate.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had published the name of Dr. Dele Ajadi as the party’s governorship candidate, which fuelled speculations that Lanlehin might have been dropped.
But Ladoja, who spoke through his media aide, Lanre Lantinwo, said Ajadi’s name was temporarily submitted to meet INEC deadline.

He said the party’s National Working Committee’s (NWC) declaration of Senator Olufemi Lanlehin still stands, and he will fly the party’s flag in 2019.
