Former governor of Oyo state, Rashidi Ladoja will be among those that will led the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Osun State campaign committee .
Other would include the son of a former Adamawa State Governor, Senator Abdul-Azeez Nyako; and former governors of Osun and Oyo states, Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
The party also expressed confidence in its candidate, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, and his running mate, Justice Folahanmi Oloyede, (retd.), to emerge victorious in the September 22 governorship election in Osun State.
The party’s National Chairman, Chief Ralphs Nwosu, said the ADC’s chances of winning the election were bright considering the alleged poor performance and many abandoned projects of Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress in the last eight years.
Nwosu stated that the ADC boasted of five million card-carrying members, adding that 90 stalwarts of the party had been assembled to lead its campaign in Osun State.
