Rashidi Ladoja, former Oyo state governor, has stated that he will only be available to counsel the ZLP gubernatorial candidate, Sharafadeen Alli, when he becomes governor of the state.
InsideOyo.com reports that Alli is among the candidates vying for the No,1 seat in the state.
Ladoja while speaking on Saturday in a programme aired by Gravity FM, Igboho, said Alli will be liable to the praises and insults from his government as he will not be able to run it for him.
This is coming as the former governor said he is taking time off politics and political offices to attend to family needs and issues.
He urged the people of Oke Ogun and other communities in the area to support his party’s governorship candidate, Sharafadeen Alli, in the next election.
“I almost neglected my family when I was in government because I gave my all to ensure good governance.
“I will only counsel Sharafadeen Alli when he becomes governor.
“ I can’t run his government for him. He would be the one to receive the praises or insults, so he will do well to heed to good advice.”
