Alh Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, has commiserated government and the entire people of Oyo State on the sudden death of one of your dependable aides Rt Hon Kehinde Ayoola.
In a statement he signed on Friday and addressed to Governor Seyi Makinde, Aare Musulumi described departed Rt Hon Kehinde Ayoola as a quintessential gentleman whose exemplary characters and loyalty remain indelible and “will no doubt, create a big vacuum which I pray only Allah will help you and the good people of Oyo State to fill.”
“Every soul shall taste of death. And you will be paid on the day of resurrection only what you have fairly earned. Whoever is removed from the furnace of fire and provided with a place in paradise is indeed triumphant. The life of this world is but ephemeral comfort in man’s sheer illusion”. Q. 3:185.
“I write to commiserate with Your Excellency, the government, and the entire people of Oyo State on the sudden death of one of your dependable aides Rt Hon Kehinde Ayoola whom Allah chose to call to eternal rest yesterday, 14th May 2020.
“The news of his death was indeed a rude shock and saddening to me and I know will also be to the people of Oyo State, Oyo town as well as Ikú Bàbá Yèyé the Alaafin of Oyo, whom I also use this medium to commiserate with.
“I thank the Almighty Allah for his fruitful life, a brilliant example for upcoming youths aspiring to become exemplary leaders. I pray Allah to repose his soul in eternal bliss and grant his family comfort and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. (Aameen).”

Hon Ayoola died on Thursday in Ibadan at the age of 55.
