The Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government Area, Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi (Natural), has sworn in newly appointed Supervisory Councilors and Special Assistants at the Legislative Chamber.
In his welcome address, Hon. Oyewumi appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde FNSE, for his magnanimity and commitment to rewarding party loyalists.
He also thanked party leaders, particularly Hon. Barr. Adeniyi John Farinto, for promoting unity and love among party members.
Hon. Oyewumi encouraged the new appointees to work towards the growth and development of the party, rather than seeing themselves as solely fortunate. He also announced the immediate reshuffling of some portfolios.
Former caretaker Chairmen, Hon. AB Azeez and Hon. Timothy Bolarinwa, advised the appointees to follow the Chairman’s lead and uphold the Restoration Agenda. Party leaders, including Hon. Yekeen Asafa and Alhaji Kazeem Olatunji, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the additional appointments.
The Amunijio of Ijio land, Oba Mudashir Oyewobi, encouraged the appointees to serve as good ambassadors for Iwajowa and the People’s Democratic Party.

2. Hon. Adeegbe Dauda Ogunleke: Supervisory Councilor for Community Engagement and Social Inclusion
3. Hon. Olawoore Michael Olayiwola (Chucky Pellet): SA Public Affairs
4. Hon. Fatai Peter Arole: SA Disabilities Affairs
