Education Secretaries across the 33 Local Government Universal Basic Education Authority Areas (LGUBEAs), have congratulated Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his inauguration for a second term as the Governor of Oyo State.
A statement signed by the Education Secretary, Ibadan South-west Local Government Universal Basic Education Authority, Mrs. Morenike Adeniran, sent to newsmen indicated this on Wednesday.
The statement urged Governor Seyi Makinde to keep up his good works, in placing premium on basic education in the pace-setter State.
Adeniran, on behalf of other Education Secretaries explained that the forum will work in tandem with Governor Makinde’s agenda to enhance basic education in the State, through exploration of all avenues to develop the sector.
She said the forum will leverage on the Education & Technology Pillar of the present administration.
Expressing the belief that with hard work as exhibited in his first term, Mrs. Adeniran said the Governor will achieve more success in the basic education sub-sector.
The statement read, “We want to congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde on his inauguration as the governor of Oyo State. Your antecedents as the Engineer of modern Oyo State, played out in your first term. We are sure this term will be more glorious ”
