A physically challenged person, Wasiu Nurudeen, has donated N120,000 to help the Governor-elect, Mr Seyi Makinde during his election petitions cases, The PUNCH reported.
According to PUNCH, Nurudeen said the donation will support Makinde to defend his mandate before the election petitions tribunal.
Nurudeen, an athlete, disclosed this to journalists in Ibadan, the state capital, on Wednesday.
He said he donated the money in recognition of Makinde’s philanthropic gesture to the vulnerable over the years.
He said, “To prove my support for the governor-elect in our dear state, I have donated the sum of N120,000 to support our governor.”
