Impact Business Radio (IBR), a leading broadcast outfit in Nigeria, has emerged as the best radio station in the South-West region at the Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award 2024.
The prestigious event, held in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Sunday, was attended by dignitaries from various sectors, including business moguls, industry captains, media proprietors, and prominent broadcasters.
Deacon Owolabi Oladejo, Chief Executive Officer of Metropolitan Broadcasting Services, owner of IBR and Impact Television, expressed his delight at the award.
He attributed the success to the creativity, commitment, and dedication of IBR staff. Oladejo also received the award for Best CEO at the event.
According to Aanuoluwapo Omorinde, Head of Operations at IBR, the award was unsolicited. The organizers reportedly confessed that IBR’s content and delivery were closely monitored by a team of experts before being adjudged the best in the South-West.
This latest award is a significant milestone for IBR, having previously won several awards. The recognition is a testament to the station’s impact on the media landscape in Nigeria.
