The CEO of Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort, Ibadan, Dr. Dotun Sanusi, has been selected as the winner of The Sun Hospitality Icon of the Year Award 2024.
The award, conferred by The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of Daily Sun, Saturday Sun, Sunday Sun, and Sporting Sun, is in recognition of Dr. Sanusi’s outstanding achievements in the hospitality industry.
According to a letter signed by the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Publishing Limited, Onuoha Ukeh, the award will be formally presented to Dr. Sanusi at The Sun Awards ceremony on March 1, 2025, in Lagos.
Dr. Sanusi, who is also the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan, will receive a formal letter confirming his selection as the award winner on December 10, 2024.
The letter reads: “The Management and Staff of The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of Daily Sun, Saturday Sun, Sunday Sun and Sporting Sun, bring you warm greetings. We felicitate with you on your achievements in office.
“We write to notify you that the Board of Editors of The Sun Publishing Limited, after a rigorous selection process, has picked you as winner of The Sun Hospitality Icon of the Year Award 2024.
“The award will be formally presented to you at an elaborate ceremony on March 1, 2025 at the prestigious The Sun Awards in Lagos.
“Congratulations.”
