The secretary of Ido Local government area, Hon. Bamidele Lawal has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his emergence as the Vice-Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF)
Lawal, in a congratulatory message he personally signed on Friday, said Governor Seyi Makinde has stood tall among his equals, and excelled profusely in qualitative governance hence the reward and recognition in the comity of counterparts.
He said, “It’s very unsurprising that the Governors overwhelming endorsement as the Vice Chairman of the Governors’ Forum in Nigeria is just a tip of an iceberg.
“Oyo State has been plagued with leadership poverty long before now but God has inundated the residents with a moving encyclopedia of ideas and an unrepentant executor of socioeconomic projects.”
While adding further, he stressed that the magnificent performance at the just concluded Oyo International Economic Summit in London is still oscillating positive resonance within foreign and indigenous investors.
Lawal however stressed that that Governor Makinde deserves to be commended for offering humanity this Sage, adding that he is proud to be a progeny of this administration.
