The chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Honourable Lateef Akorede has distributed the Federal Government assorted commodities to residents of the local government.
The chairman who also inaugurated a committee on Friday also did a symbolic presentation of the commodities to beneficiaries.
While speaking, Akorede tasked members of the committee to be fair in the distribution of the commodities.
He urged them to consider the vulnerable people in the local government.
His words: “These commodities are a symbol of the Government’s care for our people. Let us extend that care to every corner of Ibarapa North, especially to the most vulnerable.
“As we share these gifts, let us remember that fairness and compassion are the hallmarks of good governance. Let us strive to make a positive impact on every life in our local government.
“I charge the committee to be diligent in their task, ensuring that these commodities reach those who need them most. Together, we can make a difference in Ibarapa North.” Hon. Lateef Akorede
